About
Welcome to FourSquare Prints Co.
FourSquare Prints Co. is a Canadian-made 3D printing shop. We design and print functional everyday items, stylish home décor, sensory-friendly fidget toys, custom FPV drone and EUC parts, and engineering parts built to work hard — each piece printed to order, with only a small stock of around five of each item kept on hand. Nothing is mass-produced and warehoused.
Every product is designed with creativity and practicality working hand in hand: clean, modern pieces for the home, useful daily accessories, tactile fidgets, and precision parts for hobbyists and makers, engineered for durability and performance.
Materials
PLA — our everyday material. Made from plant starch (usually corn) instead of petroleum. It can break down in an industrial composting facility, but not in a home compost bin or a landfill, so we don't call it biodegradable without that qualifier. Best for decorative pieces, display models, prototypes, and low-stress parts.
PETG — our tough material, used when a part needs to take a beating. Same plastic family as drink bottles, mechanically recyclable by specialist processors (most curbside programs won't take it). Its green credential is lifespan: a part that lasts for years doesn't get replaced. Best for everyday functional parts — brackets, holders, containers, and parts that see moisture.
TPU — our flexible material, for parts that need to bend, grip, or absorb impact. It's petroleum-based, and we use it where flexibility matters, not because of its footprint. Best for grips, gaskets, bumpers, vibration dampers, protective guards, and drone parts that need to flex rather than snap.
Engineering materials — for parts where everyday plastics aren't enough:
ABS — strong and heat-resistant, and it can be sanded and smoothed for a clean finish. Best for enclosures, indoor mechanical parts, and parts that sit near heat. Not for outdoors — sunlight makes it yellow and brittle over time.
ASA — ABS's outdoor sibling: similar strength and heat resistance, but built to handle sun and weather without fading or weakening. Best for anything that lives outside or in sunlight — garden parts, signs, vehicle mounts, outdoor housings.
Nylon — strong, wear-resistant, and made for parts that move. Best for gears, hinges, bushings, and parts that rub or slide against each other.
Polycarbonate — our strongest, most heat-resistant material. Best for parts under real load — structural brackets, protective covers, and parts that can't afford to fail.
Carbon-fiber blends — stiff, light, and dimensionally stable. Best for drone frames and mounts, brackets, and any part where flex would ruin the job.
Not sure which material your part needs? Tell us what it has to survive — heat, sunlight, flexing, heavy load, friction — and we'll match the material to the job. That's also an option on our custom order form ("Not sure yet — help me choose").
While no manufacturing process is entirely without impact, we aim to make smarter choices wherever possible: responsible material selection, printing to order, and products meant to be used and enjoyed over time, not discarded.
In addition to our ready-made products, we also take custom orders — from one-off ideas to replacement parts to specialized engineering parts. Start one on our Custom-Print Order page.
